Upgrade Your Netbook with Verbatim's Tiny Netbook USB Drive with up to 32GB Capacity
Netbooks are an increasingly common and fashionable tech accessory. By their very nature, Netbooks are small and lightweight, meaning that many come with limited onboard SSD storage. Verbatim's new Store'n'Go Netbook USB Drive provides a solution to this storage shortcoming by providing up to 32GB storage capacity in a device smaller than a $1 coin that can be simply plugged into a Netbook and left there on a near permanent basis.
The Verbatim Netbook USB Drives are available now in 8GB capacities, with 16GB and 32GB becoming available in early 2011.
- Up to 32GB Storage Capacity
- Only 2g in weight
- Smaller than a $1 coin
- Can be left semi-permanently in Netbooks
- Works with PC and Mac operating systems
- Long-term Storage Extension
The Netbook USB Drive allows users to increase the storage capacity of their Netbook without having to open it to upgrade the built-in storage, or even extend its footprint. Due to its minute size- only 17.15mm long x 14.85mm wide x 7.7mm deep- when inserted into the USB interface, only 5mm is left protuding, meaning that it can be kept in the Netbook on a semi-permanent basis and used as a long-term storage extension. And, needless to say, Verbatim Netbook USB doesn't only work with Netbooks, but can also be used in any other computer gadget with a USB port- anything from car radios and digital picture frames to desktop PCs.
Pricing and Availability
Verbatim's Netbook USB drives are currently available in capacities of 8GB and have an RRP of $27.95. Higher capacities, including 16GB and 32GB will be available in early 2011.
