Verbatim introduces Cleansui Water Filtration Products in Australia

Verbatim Australia is excited to announce that we will shortly begin distribution of the Cleansui range of water filtration products to the Australian market. The Cleansui range includes jugs, faucet- mounted filters, counter top units and under-sink systems, along with replacement filters. Cleansui's original proprietary filtration system ensures the high level of performance that has made them one of the better choices of water purifier in the Japanese market.

Most water purifiers currently available in the Australian market employ an activated carbon filter only. As a result, they are capable of improving the taste of the water, but cannot entirely remove microorganisms or other impurities within the water. The Cleansui range of products feature a unique state-of-art filtration system which uses a combination of ceramics, activated carbon and hollow fibre membrane filters. The special ceramics removes soluble lead. The activated carbon filter reduces unpleasant odours, chlorine and mould, and also successfully removes pesticides, herbicides, CAT and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The core competence of Cleansui is their hollow fibre membrane filter, made from ultra-fine polyethylene. The sidewalls can remove particles as minute as 0.1 micrometer from tap water, including bacteria, algae, fungi, micro-organisms, cysts, cryptosporidium, and metal particles such as rust, lead etc.

Whilst removing up to 13 potentially harmful substances (depending on the filter chosen), the purifiers still allow the end product (filtered drinking water) to retain its beneficial nutrients and minerals.
