External Optical Drive FAQs
The serial number is displayed automatically. Please validate the automatically displayed serial number.
In order to play the DVD, you can to locate the VIDEO_TS.IFO file.
Other IFO files will work but in order to play the entire DVD you must select this file and click Open.
You can find player software for free on the internet, by using a search engine or buying a full version. VLC media player is a good example, and is available for Windows, iOS, Linux and Android:
Connect your Slimline CD/DVD or Slimline Blu-ray writer to your computer and read the product CD with your new Verbatim writer. It works by plug/play automatically.
Both applications are using Flash Player, which is End-of-Life. You can also access the PC or MAC folders on your product CD directly, to install software for windows or to read the manuals. There is no software included for Macs.
