Through SEDEX and equivalent recognised programs, we:

• Connect suppliers and customers to share verified ethical trade information.
• Undergo independent SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) assessments, or accept equivalent third-party ethical audits from accredited bodies such as BSI, Amfori, or RBA.
• Require all suppliers to provide valid, independent ethical audit reports, without exception.
• Expect every supplier to maintain internationally recognised management certifications such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and/or ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).

The vast majority of our technology suppliers are active members of SEDEX, with the remainder meeting equivalent high standards through other globally recognised audit programs. This ensures that every product we source is backed by robust social compliance, environmental responsibility, and ethical business practices, giving our customers complete confidence in the integrity of our supply chain.

As an active APCO member, Verbatim has embedded sustainability into every stage of our packaging design process. By 2025, we have:

• Fully aligned our packaging design process with APCO’s Sustainable Packaging Guidelines.
• Applied the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) to the vast majority of our product range, improving recycling clarity for consumers.
• Achieved 100% plastic-free packaging for all newly launched products.
• Removed soft plastics from our packaging across the business.
• Transitioned most packaging to FSC-certified cardboard and paperboard formats.
• Significantly increased the proportion of recyclable and responsibly sourced materials year-on-year.
